today we have the full newsletter scanned in exactly as Chrissie published it back in the beautiful summer of 1976 when the
single 'Under One Roof' was released. It was a radical departure from the band's previous style but went on to chart respectably
wherever it was released. Even where the song wasn't released (USA) it made #1 on the Rolling Stone magazine chart.
In the end John and Alan never did receive the financial backing to make 'Pia No Nose' into a film. I've heard the album of
songs they wrote and recorded and know that Rubettes fans would love it. Why not contact Alan through his official website
and ask him to release it..?
